Dear Bruce -
I’m writing to tell you how happy we are with the work that you and your team did on our house this fall.
We couldn’t be happier with the new heat pump and propane fireplace. (And we couldn’t be happier that the oil furnace, the oil tank, old chimney and hearth are gone!)
The walls that you built inside (for the fireplace) and outside (rebuilding the previous wall and roof section where the old chimney was) have brought our house into the 21st century, and we have no more worries about water damage to the structure.
We’re also relieved that you were able to investigate and remedy the water leakage around the patio door.
Beyond your help and expert advice with decisions about the heating system, electrical and structural changes, we appreciate your guidance on the design decisions around the new fireplace, paint, etc.
The fireplace, its surrounding stonework and the new wall are stunning.
The result is that our living room is completely updated and improved - inside and out.
Your commitment to managing all the details of this project, from the new circuit breaker panel to the paint on the new wall (while accommodating all the additions and changes required and/or requested) meant that we had no worries or concerns that everything would be done right.
Your team was unfailingly reliable, pleasant, respectful, quiet (as they could be, given the need for a jackhammer!), tidy and professional. No matter what complication arose, you figured out a way to resolve it. It was a pleasure to work with you, Pete and Dan.

Bruce has done a number of house renovations for us over the last 15 years. His work has always been exceptional. He and his staff take the utmost care in their work and that is evident in the results. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants quality work done in their home or office. One added bonus.  We renovated our master bath. Striped it down to the studs and changed the orientation of one of the walls. A new vanity, toilet and shower were expertly installed. Pot lights, heated floors and a rain shower were some of the extras we asked for. The finished product is better then we had imagined. Our experience with McKEOWN Peterson was excellent. From start to finish they were professional, excellent problem solvers (because every Reno has a few problems to solve) and I trusted their attention to detail was as focused as ours.  We have worked with McKeown Peterson on many home renovation projects over the past 20 years. This has included two kitchens requiring interior and exterior wall reconstruction.

Going through these projects is necessarily long and disruptive to normal living. Bruce is professional and pleasant and skilled in older home renovations and we know by getting him involved that the work will be done properly (plumb and level)-- the first time and the disruption will be minimized to the best of their ability.  Bruce McKeown and his assistants have done four or five projects for me including renovations in three bathrooms, kitchen update and interior house painting.
Their work is exceptional. They are very talented carpenters and their finish work is first class. They are very neat and tidy, arrive every day at the arranged time, are very pleasant to,deal with and their price is very reasonable.
